Simply Giving® is an automated giving program designed to help you conveniently and consistently contribute to a Lutheran congregation or institution or to pay tuition at a Lutheran school. Through Simply Giving®, your gifts or tuition payments are made through a pre-authorized withdrawal from your bank account or credit card. You determine the frequency of your automatic gift—weekly, semi-monthly or monthly—the option is yours. Your gift or payment is deposited into the recipient's bank account on the same day it is withdrawn from your account—at no cost to you or the recipient.

Summertime: Is the Livin’ easy?
By Mathew Clark, PH. D., Clinical Psychologist, Mayo Clinic
Summer often is filled with travel, reunions and vacation. Make this time of year truly fulfilling by creating a plan that can improve your quality of life. Ask yourself:
Do I want to spend time with family or friends, or meet new people? Do you need a trip with your significant other? Would you like to spend time with friends? Is it time for a family reunion? Think about who will re-energize you the most.
How do I want to spend my time? Do you enjoy four long weekend trips more than two-week vacations? If you’re visiting family, is a short visit better so that you won’t get on each other’s nerves, or would a weeklong visit a allow you time to reconnect?
What makes me feel most recharged? Do you get more out of relaxing at a lake cabin and reading a book, or by exploring a new city, seeing plays and visiting museums?
How can my summer plans help me spiritually? Spirituality and a sense of connectedness can be found in many places—religion, nature, art and relationships. If spirituality is important to you, would a nature or wilderness experience enhance your spiritual growth? Does visiting with extended family improve your inner sense peace?
Plan your summer around what’s important to you, and make it a truly rejuvenating season.
