Living Word Lutheran Church in Roslyn PA has the pleasure of sharing some of its space with Lutheran Children and Family Services. This wonderful organization provides a number of services, such as:

Adoption: LCFS works with children who do not live at home to facilitate family reunification or other permanent, safe and loving homes.

Foster Care: Lutheran Children and Family Service believes that every child deserves to be raised in a permanent, loving, safe, and nurturing family. Foster Care is a temporary service offered to children who have been abused, neglected, or whose birth families are unable to provide care for them.

Family Strength: LCFS provides specific services to ensure that children have a safe, healthy and permanent home.

Refugee Resettlement: LCFS offers social, legal, educational and health care access for foreign-born children, adults and families seeking security, safe haven and a new life in the United States.

School Based Services: Positive youth development programs empower children to develop academic, social, interpersonal communication, physical, vocational and leadership skills through age-appropriate activities offered in safe, familiar neighborhood settings outside of school time.

Church and Community Partnership: As a result of strong working relationships developed with churches and neighborhood organizations, LCFS and its partners are able to serve people in need in ways that they could not on their own.
