Living Word is a polling place.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 7, 2017, is Election Day. Therefore the church will heavily trafficked by the community. Please keep this in mind when you plan to come to the church on Tuesday.

There are various other events happening at church this day as well. Please plan to allow for extra time to accommodate for the increased traffic through the church. If Living Word is your polling place, you can plan to do your voting and church business on the same trip!

We encourage you and all people who are eligible to vote. The polls open at 7AM and close at 8PM. You can locate your polling place by clicking here.

We also encourage you to pray for our state in this time of discernment.

Lord God, you call your people to honor those in authority. Help us elect trustworthy leaders, participate in wise decisions for our common life, and serve our neighbors in local communities. Bless the leaders of our land, that we may be at peace among ourselves and a blessing to other nations of the earth. Help us to live in harmony and peace as a nation after tomorrow’s election; through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
