Living Word is a polling place.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 6, 2018, is Election Day. Therefore the church will heavily trafficked by the community. Please keep this in mind when you plan to come to the church on Tuesday. If you can do your business at the church (other than voting if Living Word is your polling place) on another day, we advise you strongly to consider that option.

We encourage you and all people who are eligible to vote. The polls open at 7AM and close at 8PM. You can locate your polling place by clicking here.

We also encourage you to pray for our nation in this time of discernment as we elect not only our governor, but other servants in important positions of authority.

Lord God, you call your people to honor those in authority. Help us elect trustworthy leaders, participate in wise decisions for our common life, and serve our neighbors in local communities. Bless the leaders of our land, that we may be at peace among ourselves and a blessing to other nations of the earth. Help us to live in harmony and peace as a nation after tomorrow’s election; through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
