A simple solution to community
fundraising.
Do you want an easy way to raise money for
the Church? Do you shop at Giant®? By spending the same amount as usual on groceries, 5% of your purchases can go to Living
Word's current expenses.
Here's how it works: First, the church buys gift cards from Giant, at a 5% discount.
(For example, the church would pay $23.75 cash for a $25 Giant gift card). Then, the church exchanges the Giant gift
card with you, the church member, at face value. (For example, you would give the church $25 cash/check, and receive
a $25 Giant gift card in return). The church gets to keep the profit of $1.25 for every $25 gift card it sells.
You break even because you have paid full price for your gift card.
This is a great, easy way to raise money for
the church- for every $500 in gift cards that Living Word exchanges with its members, Giant will donate $25 to the
church. And it doesn't cost you a penny! If you are interested in acquiring a Giant gift card, please contact Sue Massey.
