We like to consider our worship at Living Word blended.

In saying blended worship, we are suggesting that you will experience a worship that has both traditional and contemporary elements. For most services, we use a large screen that includes all the information needed in order to participate in the worship service.

Our worship is based on the traditional Lutheran model and draws heavily from the Evangelical Lutheran Worship book. If you are familiar with Lutheran worship, you’ll fit right in at Living Word with little adjustment.

We believe worship is primarily about praising God and experiencing God’s grace to us in the Word and Sacraments. Part of worship includes the offering, a time when we can contribute to the general operation and mission of the church. At Living Word, we don’t pass a plate for offering, but instead you can deposit your offering in the offering box as you enter the sanctuary. This way our worship stays directed at God and on God’s gifts to us as much as possible.
